Here are the next batch of pictures for Day 2 of our Trip. Not all the pictures are available as there were too many. I'm hoping to find others soon (maybe upload them in a video).

High Adventure Trip 2012: Day 1
After a much anticipated wait, I'm finally preparing my notes on our last High Adventure trip of 2012. This was such a great experience for everyone who participated. These are the picture of day 1.
Varsity and Venturing Summer Trip 2012
Our Varsity and Venturing boys have joined forces for this 2012 summer preparing a challenging trip: A 240 miles bike ride. This is going to be super fun and requires a lot of planning. Since January 2012, our boys have been planning the details of this trip: Getting funding to buy/maintain their individual bikes, working out, planning an itinerary, etc. They are now moving to the next phase of learning how to maintain their own equipment while getting in shape.
Preparation is the key to our success. Our boys have been doing great work in helping others.

Hiking Old Rag Mountain 2012
This last April, our Venturing and Varsity units got together to hike Old Rag Mountain, one of the most popular hikes in the region. I must admit it was one of the most amazing hikes I have done with these group and it was worth every effort.
The mountain is located about 2.5 hours from our home location. We hardly had any cell phone signal (with the exception of the top of the mountain).

Introducing Charter 2302, Baltimore Area Council
It is with great honor that I would like to introduce the members of Charter 2302 from the Baltimore Area Council. We meet weekly on Tuesdays evenings at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Ellicott City, MD.
Our charter consists of a Cub Scout unit, a Boy Scout unit, a Venturing unit and Crew Unit. We have a number of adults involved everyone speaking both English and Spanish. We participate in different community events and are very active in our outdoor programs. It has been a privilege to see these great young men as well as their adults leaders develop great relationships that we know will help the community in the future.
