In March 23 2012, our boys participated in the Spring Adventuree at Broad Creek Memorial Scout reservation. We had the opportunity to interact with other Venturing crews in organizing an official BSA camp for Boy Scout troops from the region.
We were in charge of the "Capture the Flag" station where we helped boy scouts interact as a team. Due to the weather (a lot of rain), our boys tried to make the best of it by playing additional games and simply having fun.
Unlike many other crews, we decided to camp and cook to do things "our way". We had a good time doing these. We had bacon, eggs and cereal and milk. It was pretty delicious.
Of course, we did the same thing for lunch. This time, we kept it easy with some PBJs. Everyone did a great job in organizing the food table near our station so we didn't have to come back to our camp site.
As we left the camp out, we continued working as a team to organize our things back to the cars for our trip back home.
